Category 01
Standards & Fitment
Which international battery standards do your products cover?
Oursun batteries are engineered to comply with all three major global fitment standards, ensuring compatibility with virtually any vehicle market:
- DIN (EN) -- European standard, widely used in Germany, France, Eastern Europe, and export markets requiring EN 50342 compliance.
- JIS -- Japanese Industrial Standard, covering Japanese OEM platforms and Asian aftermarket fitment (Toyota, Honda, Nissan, etc.).
- BCI -- Battery Council International, the North American standard used in the US, Canada, and Latin American markets.
Our sales team can provide a full cross-reference guide mapping OEM part numbers to our catalog SKUs. Please contact us with your vehicle make, model, and year for a precise fitment match.
What key specifications should I reference when ordering?
To ensure accurate fitment and performance matching, please provide or reference the following parameters:
Do you provide cross-reference charts for OEM part number matching?
Yes. We maintain a comprehensive cross-reference database covering major OEM part numbers and aftermarket catalog codes. Our technical sales team can match your existing SKU list to our product catalog, including DIN, JIS, and BCI group numbers. Please share your application list or OEM numbers via our RFQ form and we will return a full fitment proposal within 24-48 business hours.

Product Selection Guide
What is the difference between AGM and EFB start-stop batteries?
Both technologies are designed for start-stop systems, but they differ significantly in performance and application:
- Superior cycle life (3-4× vs. standard MF)
- Excellent charge acceptance for regenerative braking
- Supports high electrical load vehicles (premium & luxury)
- Vibration resistant -- fully sealed, spill-proof
- 2× cycle life vs. standard MF batteries
- Stronger starting performance for mid-range start-stop
- Cost-effective entry point for fleet & mainstream vehicles
- Ideal for taxis, ride-share, and urban fleet operators
Recommendation: Always replace with the same or higher technology tier as specified by the vehicle manufacturer. Downgrading from AGM to EFB or MF may cause BMS (Battery Management System) faults on modern vehicles.
What is the Parking A/C battery and which vehicles does it suit?
Our Parking A/C Battery Series is purpose-built for commercial trucks, heavy-duty vehicles, and long-haul transport applications where the engine is off but electrical systems -- primarily parking air conditioning units -- remain in continuous operation.
Unlike standard SLI batteries optimized for brief high-current cranking, the Parking A/C series is engineered for deep-cycle sustained discharge, offering:
- Enhanced deep-discharge recovery and longer service life under cyclic loads
- Robust construction for vibration and temperature extremes common in truck environments
- High reserve capacity to power cabin appliances during extended rest periods
Typical applications: long-haul trucks, intercity buses, construction equipment, and refrigerated transport vehicles.
When should I choose a standard MF battery over AGM or EFB?
Our Maintenance-Free (MF) Series is the ideal choice for conventional ICE vehicles without start-stop systems, particularly in the aftermarket replacement segment. Choose MF when:
- The vehicle does not feature a start-stop or regenerative braking system
- Cost-efficiency is the primary driver (budget aftermarket, emerging markets)
- The vehicle has standard electrical load without advanced ADAS or infotainment systems
- High-volume distribution requiring a broad SKU range at competitive price points

MOQ & Lead Time
What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
MOQ varies by product type and order configuration. General guidelines:
We support mixed-SKU loading within a single container to help distributors test multiple product lines. Please discuss your specific requirements with our sales team.
What are the typical lead times for samples and mass production?
7-14
Business Days
Sample / prototype delivery (standard catalog items)
25-45
Business Days
Mass production (from order confirmation & deposit)
Lead times for custom OEM/ODM orders (new molds, unique specifications) may extend by 15-30 additional days. Our production capacity of 50,000 units/day ensures we can fulfill large volume orders reliably and on schedule.
Can you guarantee delivery timelines for large orders?
